Dessilani Ghemme, 1999

Bright medium scarlet with garnet hints. Quite translucent. Ripe smoky plums and spices grow into earthy and dried porcini aromas. Rich spiced sweet plum fruit is balanced by leather, fresh mushroom and bitter cherry flavors. The finish is long with sweet fruit held in check by the firm and gripping tannins.
