Rosso di Montalcino, Valdicava, 2004

A clean and well made sangiovese showing plenty of varietal and Montalcino character. Certainly modern in style, but not overblown or chunky, maintaining a good firm sangiovese structure. Good spice and touches black truffle add depth to the clean bitter black cherry fruit.  Very nice.
